Exactly.

Yes, drones enhance and assist in a variety of ways. They will not, however, win wars.

For that you need people and all the other stuff, including drones, that goes with them. Leverage new techlogies; but don't depend on them solely to hand you victory.

As ever, great work my friend, and tallies with what I have written myself on the subject.

In the UK, we've gone even further than the US into techno-fetishist 'drones and AI are the future'. Long-term cynics might suggest that the obsession with tech is partly (mostly) because the British MOD is fundamentally unwilling to invest in the deep reserves of people and major structural reforms that are required to fight conventional war.
